Besides having the whole committee at Back to School Night this year, I thought to set up tables with displays and give each participant a "passport" so have initialed after they have visited each table. Any thoughts on this? The stops I envision: 1. Sign-in table 2. Recruitment literature table 3. Slide show area - activities 3. Display - pinewood cars, pictures 5. Den Leader Materials 6. Registration forms 7. Fees payment 8. Uniform Bank 9. End up at table for you grade We start at 7 PM. At 7:15 PM, the CM gives the short talk. We have a craft or activity area for the kids. Webelos II to supervise. I envision 1 person for sign-in, 1 person to oversee slide show and display tables, 1 person to explain registration forms, 2 people to collect and log fees, 1 person at the Uniform Bank. And a den leader or committee person for each grade. Last year we did it with 3 people which was too few. I could see consolidating a couple jobs or having the Committee float around talking to as many as possible But I don't see doing it without the den leaders present. We'll probably be in the cafeteria, though the gym might be better. YIS, Jan Mussler, Webelos Den Leader, Pack 170 Nederland, CO - Long's Peak Council Arapahoe District
