Nixon, the son of Billy and Wilma Nixon has been approved by the Boy Scouts of America for the awarding of the Eagle Scout Badge. The Eagle Scout Badge is the highest youth advancement available to a Boy or Varsity Scout. Brian will be the fourth member of our Troop since we were organized to earn the special Eagle Scout Badge. We are inviting you to attend and be a part of our public recognition of Brian's personal achievement. Brian's Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held on April 1, 1998, at the Community Center in downtown New City. The Court of Honor is the formal occasion in which Brian will recieve his Eagle Badge from the Boy Scouts of America, will conviene at 7:30pm. The Community Center is located within the New City Holidome Complex. Parking will be managed by members of Troop 000 for this special event. Dress for the Court of Honor is business casual or Scouting dress. Dinner will not be served, but a short reception with snacks, soft drinks and cake will be held immediately afterwards. Brian is an outstanding Scout and a great leader of this Troop. He would welcome your attendance and participation in his Eagle Court of Honor. If you cannot attend for any reason, we ask you please send Brian what ever personal greetings you deem to the below address. It will be placed with other greetings and gifts during the Court of Honor and a brief acknowledgement of your greetings will be made during this special event.
