Petty Officer Contract



  As a Petty Officer of S.E.S. Columbia Ranger, in recognition of

my responsibilities to my Shipmates and myself, I agree to abide

by the provisions below during the 1995-96 Scouting year.



  1) I will be registered with S.E.S. Columbia Ranger.



  2) I will have my dues paid up-to-date at all times.



  3) I will abide by the Ship  Minimum Standards and will do my

     best to set a good example.



  4) I will make every effort to attend all regular Ship and

     Quarterdeck meetings. If I can not attend a meeting, I

     will inform my superior Petty Officer and arrange for a

     substitute.



  5) I will participate (either as a trainer or student) in

     the annual Quarterdeck Training Seminar.



  6) I will perform the duties of my office as outlined in the

     Sea Explorer Manual to the best of my ability.



  7) I will initiate communication with my adult advisor

     regularly (at least once per month.)



  8) I will submit a year-end report to the Boatswain no later

     than 1March.
